Instagram carousels: every photo, not just the cover
Multi-photo Instagram posts are no longer reduced to a single image — the post card pages through every slide, and text is recognised on each of them.
A multi-photo Instagram post used to be saved as its cover image alone: the other photos were lost, and the text on them never reached search. Scano now keeps every slide and shows them in the post card.
- Slide gallery — arrows, dots and a “1/5” counter inside Show full text. On a phone you swipe between slides.
- Text on image — the recognised text sits under its own slide, and theme matching now covers the text on all photos of the carousel, not just the cover.
- Video in a carousel — marked with a play badge that opens the original Instagram post.
- In the materials list — the first photo as the preview with a “+N photos” badge; click it to open the gallery.
Works on desktop and mobile. Up to 10 slides are kept per carousel. It applies to posts collected after this update — anything collected earlier still shows a single image.
